Speaking — Allen Langham
Allen Langham  ·  Speaking

A story that reaches
the unreachable

Allen speaks from lived experience — not theory. Seven prison sentences. Heroin addiction. Organised crime. And then, grace. His story connects with people that polished presentations simply cannot reach.

Why Allen's story
lands differently

Most speakers talk about transformation in the abstract. Allen has lived it. He grew up fatherless on a council estate in Doncaster, lost his mother at fourteen, signed a professional rugby league contract at sixteen — and threw it all away.

What followed was nearly two decades of violence, heroin addiction, and organised crime. Seven prison sentences. A life that seemed unredeemable.

In 2013, alone in a cell at HMP Doncaster and planning to take his own life, Allen prayed a desperate prayer — and a dove landed on his window ledge. That moment changed everything.

Today Allen takes that story into churches, prisons, schools, and communities across the UK. He has had his life ban from rugby league overturned, rebuilt his relationship with his three children, and founded Steps to Freedom. His story captivates even the hardest of hearts.
